Return-To-Sport Rehabilitation In Sydney

Returning to sport involves more than waiting for pain to settle. Rehabilitation should rebuild strength, movement confidence, training tolerance and the specific physical demands of your sport.

Who this service is for

Return-to-sport rehabilitation can help after surgery, a significant muscle or joint injury, a prolonged break from sport or when you feel stuck between finishing basic rehabilitation and feeling genuinely ready to perform.

Clear phases and milestones

Your rehabilitation is organised around measurable stages. These may include restoring range of motion, rebuilding strength, developing power and running capacity, reintroducing sport-specific tasks and completing relevant performance tests.

Objective testing

Where appropriate, progress is assessed using strength, movement, capacity and performance measures rather than time alone. Testing helps identify remaining gaps and makes return-to-training decisions clearer.

Working with your wider care team

When required, physiotherapy rehabilitation can be coordinated with your surgeon, sports doctor, coach or other treating practitioners. Medical concerns or presentations needing further investigation are referred appropriately.
